Wow, if you live in the southwest part of the United States. You know that we just have had the first big snowfall of the season. Fortunatly it has warmed up quite a bit giving us another chance to take care of those last landscape and garden chores that have to be done.

Getting ready for Halloween

Now that Halloween is just around the corner and you are  ready to start putting up all of your decorations. You might want to think about using some simple items around your home and garden to create Halloween decorations. Things like pumpkins and squash from your vegetable garden. With a little imagination can create a beautiful Halloween display. Also autumn leaves or straw can help in making a [halloween display] or a scary scarecrow for your front yard. Now you might not be able to get out of puchasing that Superman,Batman or Wonder Woman costume. But using items from your garden landscape will help add to that creepy Halloween atmosphere that you want to create to start off the holiday season.
