Make Your Landscape Dog Friendly

Throughout the years I have owned many dogs in my time. As a young boy riding my bike, playing in the backyards and the playgrounds of my neighborhood. My first dog Smiley a black and white pointer was my favorite companion following me everywhere I went. He was also loved by the families in the neighborhood and had many people who called him a friend.

I can remember a man who I did not even know befriend Smiley and wanted to take him on a long trip he was taking as a trucker delivering goods across the country. I was a little skeptical not knowing this person but Smiley seemed to like him so I said ok to the trip. Three weeks later Smiley returned safe and sound with the thanks of the trucker for letting him take Smiley along as company for the long trip.

Other dogs that I have had the pleasure of owning was two mixed shephards I named Thunder and Lightning and two other mixed shepherds that I named Samson and Ranger. As you can tell I am very fond of german shepherds and I cannot express all the fun and pleasure that we all had together one time or another.

None of them are with me now but I remember them all dearly and maybe one day I will have a dog as a companion again. But I guess you are wondering where all this is going? Owning a dog or pet is a lot more than just filling a bowl with food and letting them out in the backyard to fend for themselves. If you care for your dogs as I cared for mine throught the years. You might want to take a look at these great tips on how to make your yard pet friendly….Read More
